Home repipe

Good evening,
Looking to repipe my home of 75+ year old copper pipe. After some research I have learned PEX pipe is cheaper and can do the job as well as copper. What are you thoughts about piping with PEX vs copper?

From my experience most juridictions in the US approve both PEX and copper as residential water line, so it is really a matter of preference at this point.
I personally prefer copper pipe because I'm old school. 😎
And it has never failed me in the 40+ years in the trade.

I had my home repiped few weeks ago, and decided to go with Uponor expansion pex. After some research it seemed to be cheaper than copper, and just as reliable. So I would recommend it.

After some research I prefer copper over PEX, but cost is significantly more. But copper type M is cheaper than L, what are your thoughts?

Copper M should be sufficient for most jurisdictions, but I personally always go with type L. Spend a little more for peace of mind.

Whichever you decide to choose we stock both copper L and PEX (type A and B). PM me for more details!
